Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Kitting Operations: Supervise a team to ensure accurate picking, packing, and organization of kits for production or customer orders
- Team Leadership: Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to the kitting team. Promote a positive and productive work environment
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure all materials are available
- Quality Assurance: Inspect kits for completeness and accuracy before they are sent to production. Ensure adherence to company quality standards
- Coordination with Production: Collaborate with other departments to maintain the smooth flow of materials and resolve any kitting issues
- Shift Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation and reports on kitting activities, inventory, and shift performance
- Problem Solving: Address operational challenges, troubleshoot issues with kits, and ensure timely resolution to keep production on track
- Experience: 2 years of experience in warehouse or production environment, with a focus on kitting, inventory management, or logistics
- Leadership: Previous supervisory or team lead experience required, preferably on a 2nd or evening shift
- Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, and walk for extended periods
