Duties

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment thoroughly to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques
• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, slicing, and measuring according to recipes and standards
• Follow food safety standards in handling, storage, and sanitation practices to ensure a safe kitchen environment
• Support the cooking team by organizing ingredients and supplies for meal service
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment throughout shifts
• Adhere to safety protocols during all food handling and preparation activities

Requirements

• Kitchen or restaurant experience demonstrating familiarity with food preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper handling procedures
• Strong knife skills
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently under pressure
• Experience with meal preparation, and catering is a plus
• Excellent understanding of safety standards in production environments and food industry regulations

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
