Position Overview

The Controller is a key financial leader within Park Place, responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, human resources/compliance and internal controls across the organization. This role partners closely with executive leadership to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight that supports continued growth.

This position can be based in either our Bellevue, WA or Boise, ID location and will support multi-location operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
• Prepare and oversee timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
• Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and financial procedures
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with leadership
• Monitor cash flow, banking relationships, and financial performance metrics
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions
• Provide strategic financial insights to support operational and investment decisions
• Lead and develop the accounting team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (CPA preferred)
• 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
• Experience in automotive strongly preferred
• Automotive industry experience and/or familiarity with Tekion or similar dealership management systems is highly beneficial
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, WA and ID compliance and internal controls
• Proven ability to manage deadlines and operate with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience with Tekion is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High level of integrity, discretion, and accountability

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
