Now Hiring: Full-Time Physical Education Teacher
Are you energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with young children? Park Place Children's Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our team full-time!
We are a high-quality preschool providing exceptional care and education for infants through K4. As a valued team member, you will have the opportunity to help shape young minds and bodies through fun, developmentally appropriate physical activities.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Age Groups: Toddlers through K4
- Class Length: 20–30 minutes per class
- Location: Well-equipped gym on-site
- Support: Assistant Teacher will assist with toddlers and two-year-olds
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead engaging PE classes based on developmental skills outlined in our Developmental Assessment booklet
- Maintain a fun, safe, and structured environment for physical activities
- Provide occasional coverage during lunch and nap times in preschool classrooms
- Use daily planning period for lesson prep and coordination
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with young children is required
- Education in Early Childhood is preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
