Walnut Creek based Property Management Co. seeks results oriented, hands on Regional Property Manager.  Regional Managers supervise all operations of the property and meet owner objectives and economic/physical requirements.  Primary duties will be to oversee 6 northern California properties of approximately 750 units and help out with entire portfolio as needed.  This position will be based in Walnut Creek, CA office.  Must be willing to roll up your sleeves and get things done!  Position requires strong leadership, personnel management hiring, marketing, training and close attention to details, plus in depth facilities knowledge.  Also, includes oversight of capital improvement projects. This is a challenging position therefore must be self-disciplined and able to focus on details, as well as the big picture. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

v  Managing only market rate apartments

v  Recruit and hire site staff

v  Develop and appropriately manage office and maintenance staff  

v  Review prospective resident application and credit worthiness

v  Visit properties regularly to inspect, observe and support the staff

v  Manage projects and vendors

v  Prepare agendas and conduct quarterly meetings

v  Possess working knowledge of state laws and Fair Housing

v  Fill in for Manager occasionally if a property is short staffed.

This is a challenging position and we are looking for someone that is proactive, not reactive. You must be a motivated self-starter and be able to juggle changing priorities. Park Place Asset Management is a stable, private investment company. We have been in business for 40 years and own all of our properties. We do not do any third-party management. We have our portfolio of 2,600 apartments for many years and have lots of long-term employees.

Minimum 3 years multi-site experience required.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
