What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coord, Inventory position at Park Nicollet?
Responsible for managing the inventory and distribution processes for supply chain operational supported locations. Manages workflow to ensure that the department is productive and operates efficiently.
Education/Experience:
Required
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years’ experience in medical supply chain and/or two years’ experience/knowledge of products and/or processes related to supply chain.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured to drive via Park Nicollet standards and policies
Preferred
- Associates Degree
- Two years of previous experience in a healthcare inventory coordinator role
Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:
- Fluent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong hands-on knowledge of information systems and computers; Microsoft Excel, word, outlook and Lawson or other ERP
- Excellent communication and demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time and prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Ability to establish positive working relationships with staff
- Strong organizational skills and ability to assess and resolve problem situations in a timely manner to address department needs
