What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flood Specialist (Part-Time) position at Park National Corporation?
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform independent review and analysis of new loan application, appraisal, write up/conversation log in order to determine flood insurance requirements, validate proof of coverage, and monitor LOS for changes and updates prior to giving a clear to close the loan
- Ensure all flood insurance cancellations, renewals, escrowed invoices are processed timely, accurately and meet compliance regulations
- Monitor incoming FEMA map changes, determine the change validity and act on documentation in accordance with procedure
- Review internal and external reports to accurately maintain loan tracking information as well as overall compliance with the FDPA
- Assist in the development and recommend changes to procedures that will lead to increased accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks
- Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards
- Other duties as assigned

- Must possess high school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 Years Minimum of Specialization Experience
SCHEDULE
Typical office hours are M-F 8a-5p - candidate will work an afternoon shift M-F. This position is non-exempt and part time. Under 30 hours expected per week
Flexible Work Arrangement: remote or on-site in Newark, Ohio, or Zanesville, Ohio, unless residence is outside 50-mile radius from office locations. Associate will be required to work on-site at least once every three weeks.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Minimal travel within the Park National footprint is expected.
Physical Requirements:
This position must be able to remain in a stationary position a minimum of 75% of the time, constantly operate a computer, and be able to be in constant communication with coworkers and stakeholders to discuss and exchange accurate information.
