Maintenance Assistant

Job Description

Maintenance Assistant sought for a 94-unit Senior Assisted Living community.

* Assure proper functioning of all mechanical equipment and systems, including routine and preventative maintenance. Maintain clean and safe physical environment for residents. Supervise all Plant Operations staff, including housekeepers and/or additional drivers.

* Class B license preferred.

* Clean driving record and spotless background required.

* Janitorial and handyman skills include painting, basic minor plumbing and electrical, some rough and finish carpentry.

• Has ability to do occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).

• Is able to spend long periods on feet and to ambulate quickly.
• Is accurate, dependable, neat and thorough in assigned tasks.
• Ability and willingness to learn quickly.
• Be eighteen (18) years of age or older.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
