Park Manor Health & Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Charge Nurses to join our nursing team.
With multiple shifts available, this is a great opportunity for an LPN looking for flexibility while taking on a key clinical leadership role. As an LPN Charge Nurse, you'll provide hands-on nursing care, supervise and support CNAs, and help coordinate quality resident care throughout your shift.

LPN Charge Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting.
- Serve as a Charge Nurse and help coordinate resident care during the assigned shift.
- Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions and changes in health status.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Recognize changes in resident condition and communicate clinical concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs), physicians, therapists, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Follow individualized resident care plans and nursing interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic nursing documentation.
- Supervise, guide, and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and fellow healthcare professionals.
- Promote resident safety, infection prevention, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
- Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Charge Nurse or nursing leadership experience preferred but not required.
- Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute care, or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide leadership and direction to the nursing team.
