Are you passionate about creating seamless events and engaging in online communities? As the Marketing and Tenant Coordinator at Waterside Shopping Center, located at the intersection of Bryant Irvin Rd. and Arborlawn Dr., you’ll ensure each event is a success while managing our digital presence.
Waterside is a dynamic shopping destination, offering dining, medical services, and retail experiences. In this role, you’ll not only oversee event execution but also build excitement and engagement through social media marketing.
This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to be onsite 3–4 days per week at Waterside Shopping Center. This position will work independently on a day-to-day basis, so the ideal candidate must be self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable managing responsibilities with minimal oversight.

Marketing Responsibilities
• Develop and drive marketing event project plans from inception to completion
• Work with vendors to align resources and pricing
• Create marketing event agendas
• Research, invite, and schedule industry-relevant speakers
• Promote marketing events via appropriate social media channels
• Track event attendance and generate post-event satisfaction surveys
• Serve as the onsite point person for setup, troubleshooting, and breakdown
• Travel as needed for events
• Monitor engagement and adjust strategies for maximum impact
• Create compelling content, including posts, photos, and videos for all retail properties
Property Responsibilities
• Respond to tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally
• Field maintenance requests, questions, and other inbound communications
• Ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of tenant issues
• Maintain strong customer service standards to support positive tenant relationships
• Prepare and distribute tenant communications (e.g., notices of work, events)
• Assist with maintaining building common areas and signage
Requirements and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
• Approximately 1 year of experience in marketing and/or communications, including internships
• Active contributor on social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook)
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative
• Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills and ability to think on your feet
• Collaborative spirit with a strong customer focus
• Willingness to work evenings or weekends based on event schedules
