From welcoming excited freshmen on Move-In Day to guiding roaring crowds on Game Days, you will be the face of hospitality and the master of the asphalt.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Direct the Flow: Confidently guide vehicles and pedestrians safely through campus intersections, parking lots, and event zones.

• Be the Campus Guide: Welcome students, parents, and fans with a smile and help direct them to the right parking structures or event gates.

• Keep it Safe: Work closely with campus security and site supervisors to manage crowds and ensure a safe environment for everyone.

The Big Events You’ll Work:

• 📦 Move-In & Move-Out Weekends: Help thousands of students take their first (and last) steps on campus.

• 🏈 Charlotte 49ers Football Games: Be part of the thrilling stadium energy and tailgate atmosphere.

• 🏀 Basketball Games: Manage the hustle and bustle around Halton Arena.

• 🎓 Commencement: Celebrate with proud families and graduates during one of the most rewarding weekends of the year.

What We’re Looking For:

• Reliable & Punctual: Events run on tight schedules—we need you there on time and ready to go.

• Great Communicator: You’re comfortable speaking to the public and using clear hand signals or flashlights to guide drivers.

• Weather-Proof: You don’t mind standing, walking, and working outside in various weather conditions (sun, rain, or crisp fall football weather).

• Team Player: You bring a positive attitude and a helpful spirit to the crew.

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a standard background check.

• Possess a willingness to stand in assigned location and direct traffic.

• Possess a commitment to attendance and punctuality.

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours), repetitively hold signs and/or flags, have the ability to use and raise arms to chest height in order to direct traffic.

• Must be physically able to move and place any signage in appropriate location.

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

• Adhere to all regulatory, company and departmental policies and procedures.

• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions including wind, rain, cold, snow, heat, etc
