Duties And Functions
Duties and functions may include but are not limited to:
- Efficiently and accurately handle all aspects of the in-room dining experience
- Receive, process, and manage orders from various platforms, including phone calls and online orders
- Prepare and place in-room amenities for guests
- Accurately input orders in the point-of-sale (POS) system and verify order details to ensure correct items, quantities, and special requests.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely order preparation and packaging
- Assemble orders and amenities with an attention to detail ensuring timely and presentable delivery free of spills, leaks, or damage
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, offering menu recommendations, and addressing any concerns or issues that arise
- Bus IRD trays from guest rooms
- Full time schedule availability for AM and PM shifts, including weekends and holidays, required
- Prior in-room dining server experience
- Experience with POS systems
- Ability to lift moderate to heavy items
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Refined verbal communication skills
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
