POSITION TITLE: Snack Bar - Aquatic Center

SALARY: No less than $16.48 per hour

REPORTS TO: Aquatic Center Coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Be at least 15 years of age.
• Possess effective communication skills.
• Ability to work part time and weekends (approximately 10 hours per week).
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds to shoulder height frequently.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Greet Aquatic Patrons and control the flow of traffic at the entrance of the pool.
• Keep the snack bar in a clean/presentable order
• Perform simple mathematical calculations
• Serve food, drinks, and other various food items in a professional/mature manner
• Answer the phone with informative answers/be able to transfer calls to appropriate person

OTHER PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work collaboratively with other staff members and management
• Follow directions from the aquatic directors
• Abide by Red Cross life guarding principles and ideals
