Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks
- Load and unload equipment ensuring equipment is secured according to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel efficiency.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, inspections, and delivery documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns before and after each trip.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route adjustments, or safety concerns during transit.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving across various terrains.
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and perform manual handling tasks safely.
- Excellent driving record demonstrating safe operation of tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles.
- Capable of managing logistics cargo handling with attention to detail to ensure cargo integrity during transport.

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
