Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled high energy Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction, and maintaining the bar area.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide exceptional guest service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments through the POS system, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service for guests at the bar or during catered events.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling guidelines.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet events as required.
- Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends in the beverage industry, and promotional offerings.
Qualifications
- 3 years of bartending experience is preferred
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess cash handling skills and demonstrate attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is essential; relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
