Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils using proper cleaning techniques.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen area.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and ensuring the availability of clean dishes for service.
- Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean serving ware and assisting with dish logistics.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service times.
- Help with general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold a hygienic workspace.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with food service environments such as hotels, catering events, or banquet settings is a plus.
- Experience in food handling, cleaning, or basic food preparation can enhance your performance in this role.
