What are the responsibilities and job description for the IMC Clerk position at Park County School District #1?
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Demonstrated understanding of the function and organization of a school media center, to include knowing electronic devices and being able to troubleshoot staff and student logins
- Proven proficiency in coordinating the checkout and check-in process for student devices, meticulously managing inventory, and promptly identifying and dispatching malfunctioning devices for repair
- Demonstrated ability to work with computers and computer databases
- Demonstrated ability to relate to students of different age/ability levels and with varying needs
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders while maintaining professionalism, tact, and empathy
- Highly motivated and self-directed; ability to work independently and with limited supervision as well as work effectively with other members of the District staff required
- Demonstrated successful record of confidentiality and handling of confidential materials
- Willingness to adapt to specific or new working situations
- Demonstrated history of continued professional growth and ability to learn on the job
Assist with operation of the building library/instructional media center so teachers and students, either individually or in groups, are able to take full advantage of available resource materials
Manage the school's social media communication to provide regular, positive updates about the school community
Serve as a member of the building team; work cooperatively with the school administrators, teachers, and support personnel
Support the school's one-to-one technology initiative by managing the check-out process for student and staff devices, providing basic I.T. support, and working with I.T. staff to facilitate device repair and replacement
Assist with the overall functions of the school as assigned and contribute to a positive school atmosphere
Qualifications:
Employment Term: Thirty-seven and one-half (37.5) hours per week; 180 days per year.
Beginning Date: August 20, 2026 with training before this date
