Elementary Teacher

Provide direct classroom instruction/remediation instruction in all curricular areas for students in assigned classroom and grade level
Qualifications:

• B.A. or B.S. Degree
• Qualified for a Standard Teaching Certificate with endorsement in elementary education as issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board
• Knowledge/Experience of Professional Learning Communities (PLC) and working with a grade level team to ensure high levels of learning for all students.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate, work effectively with, and relate to elementary students of different age/ability levels and with varying needs
• Demonstrated competency in the application and use of [1] various reading and mathematics diagnostic techniques and processes and [2] various developmental/remedial instruction techniques and processes
• Successful teaching/student teaching experience at the K-5 level
• Self-directed, self-motivated, and goal-oriented highly desirable
• Team oriented; history of professional growth; demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of personalities, settings, teaching staff, and administrators
• Experience and/or training in performance standards and familiarity with standards-based education with Early Childhood/Early Literacy/Reading Endorsement experience and/or certification preferred

Salary: District Salary Schedule (2025-2026 Base = $54,000.00)
Employment Term: Full-time – 185-day contract
Beginning Date: 2026-2027 reporting date for staff – August 13, 2026 (New staff will have orientation before this date)
