What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Industrial Designer position at Park Computer Systems?
Design Skills:
Hands-on design contribution - leading the CMF design process from start to finish, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of the project.
Strategic Thinking:
Lead by demonstrating CMF Design knowledge and confidence.
Able to see the big picture and how design fits into the overall business strategy.
Understanding and representing PWS Design goals and objectives – for our users and our disciplines – with the cross-functional Project Team to ensure Design Projects land with the right quality and experience and are incorporated into the process.
Set design standards and guidelines, and ensure adherence to them across the project.
Collaborative Mindset:
Working effectively through collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, goals, and timelines and incorporate them into the design process.
Working with the assigned Design Project team members, business partners, and engineering to identify overall Design Project schedules and activities to ensure Design Project lands with the right experience for the customer at the right cost and in the right time frame.
Understanding and driving cross-discipline design decision-making to ensure meaingful experience for the customer
Skills: Communication:
Creating and presenting design concepts/solutions to team and stakeholders
Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure the consistency and quality of design work.
Keep updated and be able to update others on project status taking into account all disciplines involved in the project: ID, CMF, UX( SW), CDR, PKG, etc
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $61.00 per hour
