Job Summary:
Service is the foundation of everything we stand for at Vail Resorts and our Housekeeping team is the start of creating that experience of a lifetime for our guests. Responsible for managing daily operations and housekeeping staff, the Assistant Housekeeping Manager is a detail-oriented master of hospitality.
Job Specifications:
- Starting Wage: $52,000.00 - $62,127.11
- Employment Type: Year Round
- Shift Type: Full Time hours available
- Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage daily housekeeping operations and performance including hiring, scheduling, training and developing staff, communication, assignments, budgets, inventory, and record keeping
- Monitor team performance and behavior to provide meaningful feedback and direction, including recognition or correction action if necessary
- Collect data from guest satisfaction surveys to monitor performance and trends as a means for continuous improvement of the department
- Partner with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure products and services are meeting quality standards
- Provide excellent service to all guests, responding promptly to any accommodation requests
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of housekeeping, guest service or hospitality management experience preferred
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English, bilingual a plus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including split shifts, nights, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
The expected pay range is $52,000.00 - $62,127.11. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
