Description
The primary focus of this position is to promote and cross-sell our financial products and services while serving the needs of our members by efficiently, professionally and accurately processing their transactions with the main objective of being able to establish a long term relationship with them. The MSR needs to be proactive in identifying members’ financial needs in order to assist and offer our products and services to them. The MSR must maintain corporate professional standard levels while interacting with our members; provide them with a high degree of accurate services in accordance with our credit union policies and procedures; must be willing to work with co-workers in a team spirit environment.
Requirements
1. Complete and maintain necessary reports and records pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act. Complete Currency Transaction Reports and report suspicious activity when applicable.
2. Maintain comprehensive knowledge on all credit union products and services that are handled or promoted by MSR’s. Maintain up-to date materials and comprehensive knowledge on all related policies and procedures, rules and regulations for the MSR area, including security procedures, BSA training, etc.
3. Project a positive image to our members/ potential members/visitors of Park City Credit Union; show a business, professional attitude at all times while dealing with our membership.
4. Responsible to promote, explain, and cross-sell our financial products and services such as savings, checking accounts, share certificates, IRA’s, loans, online banking, bill pay, debit cards, etc., to our members. Strives to achieve sales and referral goals set yearly by PCCU management.
5. Maintains good member relations by effectively communicating answers to our member’s questions or if necessary being able to direct members to appropriate departments for further assistance. If necessary, ability to explain the policies of Park City Credit Union.

6. Effectively handle our member accounts by handling their transactions accurately and efficiently either in our lobby area, drive-up, by mail, fax, or email.
7. Process by cash or check loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, etc. according to PCCU guidelines. Adhere to established controls for check holds, verification of funds, and to ensure that checks are properly endorsed. At all times, must verify the identification of the person conducting the transaction.
8. Balance checks, coin or currency in a normal day’s work and balance cash drawer at the end of the shift according to established credit union procedures. Maintain accurate balancing/variation records that meet credit union guidelines. Maintain all items for audit requirements. Research and resolve any cash/check discrepancies. Report all discrepancies to your immediate supervisor.
9. Ensure that the work station is kept neat and clean during the day and is properly stocked with forms, supplies, brochures, etc.
10. Assist in other duties at the credit union such as general office duties, including answering telephones, mail, filing, shredding documents, counting/rolling coin, counting and banding money and other duties as requested.
11. Ability to use the latest computer software/ technology that is used by the credit union in order to assist our members.
12. Perform other duties as may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.
