Minister to Women & Discipleship

Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of a dynamic women’s ministry that meets the specific needs of women, fostering fellowship, spiritual growth, service, and learning opportunities.
• Serve as the church’s ministry expert for women, continually discovering new and innovative ministry strategies to reach and minister to women in all stages of life.
• Discover creative ways to engage women with our DWELL reading plan and our overall disciple making strategies.
• Help women to discover, strengthen, and utilize their God-given gifts for ministry.
• In her pastoral role, on an as needed basis, refer women to The Center or other counseling options when necessary.
• Identify, equip, and empower women to lead various aspects of a multi-faceted women’s ministry.
• Participate in Discipleship Team meetings and engage with other discipleship team activities when assigned.
• Collaborate with our team to develop and implement an annual budget for the ministry.
• Coordinate with supervisor to discover and attend relevant conferences to further develop ministry skills.
• Other ministerial duties as assigned. (Hospital and bereavement visits, counseling, other.)

• Be committed to our discipleship mission to lead all generations to follow Jesus every day.
• Be a person of integrity and honor in all matters in and out of the church.
• Be dedicated to excellence in all that is done in the church to the glory of God.
