We’re a small but mighty growing startup doing big things, and we are currently seeking a results-oriented Outside Sales Representative to join our Integration team. This position will work alongside our Director of Sales within an assigned territory of prequalified on-site customers.
This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a talent for building relationships and a strong sales acumen, eager to make an impact in the multifamily market. Successful candidates will be skilled in relationship building, negotiation, and closing, with a passion for business development and a proven ability to secure deals. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence by selling our cutting-edge PlatePerfect LPR solutions to apartment communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in a structured, two-week paid training program to learn our core offering, identifying customer needs, appointment-setting processes, objection handling, relationship building, and industry-specific best practices
- Shadow our Director of Sales during initial touchpoints, product demos, proposal submissions, and closing presentations to understand and articulate PBP’s value proposition concisely with conviction.
- Gather property manager contact information to execute consistent follow-up touchpoints and increase engagement to book qualified appointments for our Account Executives to conduct product demonstrations.
- Accurately provide feedback on lead quality and log important prospect information in Zoho CRM during outreach activities to organize opportunities effectively and drive efficient sales productivity.
- Maintain a positive, proactive attitude and represent the company with professionalism in every customer interaction.
- Meet weekly and monthly benchmarks related to touchpoint volume, lead follow-up, and demos booked.
- (Encouraged but not required) - Represent Park By Plate at apartment association events, trade shows, networking opportunities, and industry meetings to establish a strong presence within the market
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in an outbound sales role or property management-related role.
- Basic proficiency to perform (or quickly learn) lead entry in Zoho CRM.
- Self-propelled accountability to work independently in a goal-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel within a localized territory to meet clients and prospects.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Experience with trade shows and industry networking is a plus.
