Park Avenue Medicine & Surgery is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to help build and lead our primary care division within a busy multidisciplinary Park Avenue practice.
This is an ideal opportunity for a clinically strong, entrepreneurial physician who wants more autonomy than a hospital-employed role while joining a practice with existing patient flow, specialist support, and growth potential.
About the Practice
Park Avenue Medicine & Surgery is a multidisciplinary medical and surgical practice located in a prime Park Avenue office in Manhattan. Our services include pain management, spine care, neurology, sports medicine, podiatry, rehabilitation, psychology, aesthetics, wellness, and outpatient surgical care.
The practice includes an accredited Class C operating room and an established patient base, including approximately 100 pain-management patient visits per week.
Role
The physician will provide high-quality primary care while helping develop an integrated care model for patients with chronic pain, musculoskeletal conditions, metabolic disease, wellness needs, and complex medical issues.
Responsibilities include:
- Primary care visits, annual physicals, follow-ups, and preventive care
- Medical optimization for patients undergoing procedures
- Chronic disease management, including hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and hyperlipidemia
- Telehealth and in-person visits
- Coordination with pain management, neurology, rehabilitation, psychology, podiatry, and aesthetics/wellness services
- Opportunity to help design protocols, build a panel, and grow the primary care division
Ideal Candidate
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active New York medical license
- DEA registration
- Strong bedside manner and professional presentation
- Comfortable working in a private-practice, multidisciplinary environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset preferred
- Interest in wellness, executive health, peri-procedural optimization, or integrated care is a plus
