Director of Maintenance Job Description
Responsibilities: - Develop and execute maintenance strategies to ensure optimal equipment performance and uptime - Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support as needed - Fabricate, install, and maintain high voltage electrical systems - Oversee project management for maintenance-related initiatives, ensuring timely completion within budget - Maintain low voltage electrical systems, including lighting and communication systems - Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Long Term Care experience, Nursing Home Setting - Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in maintenance management or related field - Life safety knowledge - In-depth knowledge of high voltage electrical systems and their components - Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques - Familiarity with low voltage electrical systems, including lighting and communication systems - Excellent problem - Solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
