Park Avenue Capital is seeking a Lead Financial Planning Associate to join their team.
Role Profile Summary
The Lead Financial Planning Associate, in coordination with clients and the broader team, will be expected to analyze clients’ goals and objectives and execute financial planning deliverables and recommendations. This individual must show a strong desire for personal and professional growth.
Core Responsibilities
· Serve as a concierge planner for PAC’s A/A Clients.
· Analyzing client statements and financial goals, execute and deliver financial planning recommendations and complete case preparation for client meetings.
· Provide insurance, tax, estate, and retirement income planning solutions for PAC’s high-net worth clients
· Coordinate with Director of Planning to identify, communicate, and help implement planning strategies to the firm’s advisors.
· Actively contribute to the publication, distribution and communication of monthly/quarterly planning related content to PAC’s advisors and clients.
Firm Leadership and Development
- Assists with training of Financial Planning Associates and Senior Financial Planning Associates.
- Contributes to development and maintenance of the Planning Department workflows and standard operating procedures.
Business Development
· There are no direct business development requirements around private client acquisition, but it is always welcomed and rewarded.
Qualifications
· Required
o Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance or equivalent work experience.
o Must obtain Life/Accident/Health license, SIE and Series 7 in first year.
o Have at least two of the following designations with one being primary.
§ Primary: CFP, CPWA, RICP
§ Secondary: ChFC, AEP, CAP
o 7 years of experience in the wealth management industry.
