Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Title Agent role based in Winter Park, FL, with some flexibility to work from home. The Title Agent will manage title and closing processes, including ordering and reviewing title searches, clearing title issues, preparing closing documents, and coordinating with buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate escrow records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards, and overseeing the chain of title to confirm marketable ownership. Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Closings, including preparing settlement statements and coordinating signing appointments.
- Proficiency in Title Searches and Chain of Title review to identify and resolve potential title defects.
- Knowledge of Escrow management, including handling funds, disbursements, and accurate record keeping.
- Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on clear communication, responsiveness, and one-on-one client support.
- Familiarity with Florida real estate and title regulations, forms, and customary closing practices.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
- Comfort using title production software and common office tools (e.g., document management and e-signature platforms).
- Prior experience in a title agency, law firm, or real estate closing environment is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, collaborating in-office and remotely as needed.
