Summary
Parity is seeking a part-time Brand Strategy Assistant Intern to support the development and execution of our brand strategy, marketing, and communications initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in brand development, storytelling, and community engagement. This role is perfect for a creative, organized, and strategic thinker who is eager to gain hands-on experience in mission-driven branding and marketing. The role has an anticipated start date of May 2025, and applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

Role Activities
As the Brand Strategy Assistant Intern at Parity, you will assist in developing and executing brand initiatives that enhance Parity’s presence and storytelling. Your responsibilities will include:
- Organizing content and marketing materials
- Assisting in execution of brand and marketing plan
- Supporting content creation for social media, newsletters, and other communication channels (This may include some photography and video)
- Conducting research on branding trends, audience insights, and competitor analysis
- Assisting in event planning and project management
- Assisting in the creation of branded materials, including presentations, reports, and promotional content
- Monitoring brand performance and engagement metrics to inform strategic decisions
- Supporting additional marketing and communications projects as needed
Requirements
- Strong interest in brand strategy, marketing, and communications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity and ability to think strategically about brand storytelling
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic experience with content creation and social media management
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
- Passion for community development, social impact, and racial equity
