What are the responsibilities and job description for the High End Event Company Looking for DJ's position at Parisi Events and Productions?
High End Event Company Looking for DJ’s
Job Type: Part-Time / Training Program (Weekends & Evenings)
Become a Professional DJ
We are a premier DJ event company looking for passionate individuals who want to build a career as a professional DJ. We are not looking for temporary gig workers; we are looking for dedicated trainees. You do not need any previous DJ experience—we will teach you everything there is to know about our services, equipment, and performance techniques from the ground up.
Important Note: This is NOT an Event Planner Assistant position. This role is strictly a technical, production, and performance position designed to train you to become a lead event DJ.
Event Assistant & Photo Booth Attendant
- Begin with hands-on training to learn how to properly set up, operate, and tear down all event gear, including DJ booths, speakers, and lighting.
- Accompany our lead DJs to events as an Event Assistant, handling load-in and load-out.
- Learn to operate our photo booths and attend them throughout events.
Live Audio & Lighting Management
- Take control of live light shows during high-energy dance sets.
- Learn advanced live audio skills, including microphone frequency management and volume mixing.
- Assist lead DJs during wedding ceremonies by managing audio for the officiant, cuing processional music, and ensuring flawless sound delivery.
Live Performance
- As your technical and mixing skills progress, we will schedule you to spin live at local bars where we manage the DJ rotation to help you build real-world performance confidence.
Lead DJ & Mentor
- Once you have mastered the moving parts of a live event, you will graduate to running your own events as a fully-fledged Lead DJ.
- Eventually, you will pay it forward by mentoring the next generation of incoming trainees.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
Because of the nature of the events industry and the eventual transition into an MC/DJ role, all applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Desire to DJ: You must genuinely want to become a performing DJ. We are not looking for individuals who only want to set up gear or run photo booths long-term.
- Fluent English: You must possess perfect, fluent English. As you graduate to a Lead DJ, you will act as the Master of Ceremonies (MC) making live announcements to large crowds.
- Physical Ability: You must be able to safely and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs of audio and lighting equipment.
- Reliable Transportation: You must have a reliable personal vehicle large enough to transport event equipment to and from venues.
- Schedule Availability: You must be consistently available to work on weekends and evenings, as this is when the vast majority of our events take place.
