Wanted: Skilled HVAC Technician
Our company is actively seeking experienced HVAC technicians for our residential branch. Technician must be reliable, courteous and have the knowledge & ability to effectively troubleshoot, repair or replace commercial/home HVAC systems.
HVAC Tech Responsibilities:
- Correctly identify repair/replacement needs that are necessary to maintain HVAC equipment
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Maintains tools and materials necessary to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Providing necessary information on the proper uses of the equipment, and ensuring adequate materials are available to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Produce related documentation such as field reports
HVAC Technician Qualifications:
- Related experience and training with emphasis on both commercial & residential equipment.
- Valid HVAC Certifications
- Strong knowledge of maintenance repair work as well as appropriate safety practices.
- Ability to use machines, tools and equipment.
- Ability to handle exposure to: dirt, dust, and grease, electricity, climatic weather, various chemicals, sealant, paint, etc, equipment with moving parts and loud noise.
- Must maintain a valid NYS Driver’s License and a safe driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- This position is full time, 40 hours per week.
- Employee may be subject to working over-time as needed.
- Willingness to adhere to safety policy
