Job Posting: Head Chef - Paris Country Club (Paris, Texas)

Paris Golf & Country Club, located in beautiful Paris, Texas, is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary starting at $55,000 per year, with pay based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
• Develop and maintain seasonal menus, focusing on fresh ingredients and creative dishes
• Train and manage kitchen staff, fostering a team environment and ensuring consistency in service
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain kitchen equipment
• Ensure food safety standards and kitchen cleanliness
• Collaborate with the management team to plan special events, banquets, and member dining experiences
• Maintain cost controls and ensure efficient kitchen operations

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef preferably in a country club, hotel, or quality dining environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Expertise in menu planning and cost control
• Passion for culinary innovation and high standards for food quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred

Compensation:

• Starting salary of $55,000 per year, with potential for higher pay based on experience
