Overview:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress/Tailor with 5 or more years of professional experience to join our team at a busy, customer-focused dry cleaning business. The ideal candidate has strong alteration skills, excellent craftsmanship, and a warm, professional approach to customer service. Schedule:Tuesday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality alterations on a variety of garments, including suits, dresses, uniforms, outerwear, and specialty fabrics.Complete fittings, take accurate measurements, and provide expert recommendations to customers.Handle hemming, resizing, tapering, zipper replacements, button repairs, patching, and other custom tailoring needs.Ensure all garments are finished with clean, professional stitching and meet company quality standards.Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper handling and care of customer garments.Communicate clearly and politely with customers, offering excellent service and timely updates.Work closely with dry cleaning staff to ensure efficient garment processing and on-time completion. Qualifications: 5 years of experience as a seamstress, tailor, or alterations specialist.Strong knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, and fabric types.Ability to perform complex alterations with precision and speed.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Professional, reliable, and able to work independently.Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
