Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of baked goods, pastries, cakes, and confections following established recipes and standards
• Decorate cakes and pastries with creative designs, ensuring visual appeal and customer satisfaction
• Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, slicers, and other food preparation tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards throughout your shift
• Assist in food handling and packaging to ensure products meet quality standards for retail or catering purposes
• Support high-volume production needs by efficiently managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders while adhering to recipe accuracy and presentation standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food production, baking, pastry preparation, or a related culinary field
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs(flour bags, trays).
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper handling procedures
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
• Excellent knife skills for precise cutting, slicing, and prep work
• Experience working in high-volume kitchens or catering environments preferred
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing portion sizes
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Demonstrated ability to follow recipes meticulously while maintaining creativity when appropriate
• Prior restaurant or food industry experience highly desirable
