Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fry donuts, place toppings, and decorate on the needed pastries and bread.
- Executing day-to-day kitchen operations and production
- General Oven Duties: Baking, checking dough conditioner, and preparing all desserts to Brand Standards.
- Prepare all needed materials, ingredients, catering, and production numbers accurately to Brand Standards.
- Responsible for scaling and shaping of all breads, loaves, and pastries.
- Sanitization procedures, maintaining overall cleanliness of workstation and kitchen.
- General knowledge of production methods and organization of bread production.
- Must be able to prioritize and finish all daily tasks assigned.
- Receive and organize deliveries in designated containers and storage areas.
- Inform supervisors when equipment is not working properly and manage when food supplies are getting low.
- Complete various reports for records such as production, usage, and waste.
- Adhere to Food Safety Policies and ensure proper labeling of all containers storing food or chemicals.
- Support coworkers in training initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of one year of food handling/store experience, Paris Baguette experience preferred.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Illinois Food Certification, or the ability to become certified.
