Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts with precision and creativity
• Decorate cakes and pastries using professional cake decorating techniques to ensure visual appeal
• Package baked goods efficiently for retail display or catering orders while maintaining quality standards
• Assist in food handling, food safety, and sanitation practices to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Support food production processes by following recipes, portioning ingredients, and maintaining consistency
• Contribute to kitchen operations by managing ingredients, cleaning workstations, and organizing supplies
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about products, and ensuring satisfaction

Requirements

• Proven pastry experience with strong cake decorating skills
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures
• Experience in food preparation, baking, and culinary arts within the food industry or restaurant environment
• Skilled in knife techniques, food presentation, and packaging methods
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude toward teamwork
• Prior experience in catering or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory
