In this role, you will design and create visually stunning cakes and desserts that delight our customers. Responsibilities
- Decorate cakes and desserts using piping, fondant, and other techniques based on customer orders
- Prepare cakes, fillings, icings, and toppings while maintaining high-quality standards
- Assist with baking, assembling, and finishing baked goods
- Package products for display and customer pickup with attention to presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist customers with cake selections, custom orders, and product inquiries
- Work efficiently to meet daily production and order deadlines; coordinate with Front of the House and Back of the House team members.
Requirements
- Prior experience in cake decorating or bakery/pastry environment preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques and food preparation
- Skilled with decorating tools (piping bags, fondant tools, spatulas, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily and occasional production target
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Nice to Have
- Experience with custom cakes (weddings, birthdays, events)
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous Paris Baguette or Experience in high-volume bakery or café
