Job description:

Paris Baguette in Crofton is seeking enthusiastic and responsible bakers to join our growing family! Available shift starts from 2:00 AM - 10:30 AM.

Knowledge And Responsibilities

Baker Assistant - Starting at $16 per hour

• 0 to 6 months of bakery or kitchen production experience (training will be provided)
• Food Handler Certification (or within 30 days of hire)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 6 hours
• Reliable attendance, basic English literacy
• Willing to learn — no prior baking required
• Proof, shape, and bake bread from frozen dough per Paris Baguette specs
• Operate ovens, proofer, and dough sheeter under supervision
• Maintain production schedule and timing logs
• Clean and sanitize equipment, follow allergen protocols
  
  
  

Production Baker - Start at $18 per hour based on experience

• 1–3 years bakery production experience
• Food Handler Certification (required)
• Must know and perform all aspects of baking - oven, frying, deco and prep. Brand process and receipe will be provided to execute
• Can read and interpret PAR sheets and waste reports
• Comfortable training others; bilingual a plus
• ServSafe Manager Certification preferred
• Own full daily production for assigned shift with no supervision
• Adjust production volume against PAR sheets and forecasted sales
• Manage dough inventory rotation (FIFO) and order frozen dough
• Communicate production issues to GM (equipment, supply shortages)
  
  
  

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

• Knowledge on food producing process, sanitization, quality program
• Knowledge on food producing technique, food microbiology, and food sanitary safety practice/procedure
• Food safety, food labeling, nutrition related knowledge (include FDA)
• Confectionery/Foods major recommended
• Food Handler’s Certificate
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task
• Stellar customer service, both internally and externally
