Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store
• Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer interest
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upsell related products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized
• Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves and conducting regular stock checks
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and maintaining phone etiquette when assisting remotely or over the phone

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and standing for extended periods
• Knowledge of grocery store operations and customer service best practices
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster positive customer interactions

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
