The Welcome Center, a key program of PRC, connects individuals and families particularly refugees, immigrants, and those in transition to essential resources, language support, and community opportunities.
Position Summary
The Welcome Center Supervisor oversees the daily operations, staff, and community engagement initiatives of the Welcome Center. This role provides leadership in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs that help families achieve stability and self-sufficiency. The Supervisor ensures compliance with funding requirements, fosters community partnerships, and measures program outcomes to ensure continued impact and improvement.
Key Responsibilities and Measurable Outcomes
- Program and Staff Leadership
- Supervise Welcome Center staff and volunteers to ensure effective, culturally responsive service delivery.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to staff to maintain high service quality and professional growth.
- Community Engagement and Partnerships
- Develop and maintain partnerships with schools, service providers, and local organizations to expand access to resources.
- Represent PRC and the Welcome Center in community initiatives and meetings.
- Event Management and Marketing
- Plan, coordinate, and promote five major PRC events and smaller community activities throughout the year.
- Collaborate with PRC staff to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
- Program Evaluation and Data Management
- Collect and analyze data to monitor program impact, participant satisfaction, and service outcomes.
- Use results to guide program improvement and inform reports to leadership and funders.
- Compliance and Financial Accountability
- Oversee reporting, documentation, and budget management for all Welcome Center programs.
- Ensure expenditures align with approved budgets and funding sources.
- Organizational Collaboration
- Work cross-departmentally to align Welcome Center initiatives with PRC’s mission and strategic goals.
- Support Executive Director with strategic planning, policy input, and resource development initiatives.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong leadership, supervision, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in program management, compliance reporting, and data analysis.
- Ability to build collaborative partnerships across diverse populations.
- Cultural competency and understanding of refugee and immigrant community needs.
- Event coordination and community outreach experience.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in human services, social work, education, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in program coordination, social services, or community outreach.
- Demonstrated success in supervising staff, managing budgets, and evaluating programs.
- Experience working with diverse populations and community-based initiatives.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or English/Karen or Karenni) or other client spoken language preferred but not required.
- CPR, First Aid and AED certification upon hire or within 60 days of hire.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
