Position Summary
The Family Services Supervisor oversees the operation and administration of multiple family-centered programs at PRC. This role provides leadership, coordination, and supervision to ensure high-quality service delivery, program compliance, and community impact. The supervisor fosters a professional, trauma-informed, and participant-focused environment that promotes safety, inclusivity, and respect. This position collaborates across departments, ensures grant compliance, and supports program development and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities and Measurable Outcomes
- Program Oversight and Operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations of family support programs, ensuring services meet grant requirements, policies, and best practices. (Basic Needs Closet, Clothes Closes, Diaper program etc.).
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff and volunteers to ensure program excellence and participant satisfaction.
- Develop and monitor program budgets, ensuring alignment with PRC’s fiscal objectives.
- Client Services and Advocacy
- Provide leadership in ensuring that services are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and family-centered.
- Advocate for children and families by offering appropriate feedback, referrals, and support.
- Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and reporting in accordance with organizational and grant requirements.
- Staff Supervision and Leadership
- Supervise and support program staff, providing feedback, coaching, and performance evaluation to encourage professional growth.
- Create a positive and collaborative team culture that values innovation, professionalism, and accountability.
- Parent Education and Community Classes
- Facilitate parent education courses, including Parents Forever and Partnering with Parents, using approved curricula and best practices.
- Track class attendance, participation, and completion data to support program reporting and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with related grant requirements, maintain records and outcomes for funder reporting.
- Collaborate with PRC staff and community partners to expand parent and community education opportunities.
- Develop new parent education programming.
- Community Engagement and Collaboration
- Develop and maintain partnerships with schools, service providers, and community organizations to strengthen program reach and impact.
- Represent PRC in community initiatives, promoting awareness of available programs and services.
- Assist with grant applications, reporting, and proposals to support program sustainability.
- Program Evaluation and Reporting
- Compile and analyze program statistics to assess participation and outcomes.
- Prepare reports for leadership and funders that highlight program effectiveness and improvement opportunities.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Associate’s degree in human services, social work, education, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in program coordination, social services, or family support.
- Experience facilitating educational classes or group programs preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practices, family dynamics, and community resources.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in service delivery.
- CPR, First Aid and AED certification upon hire or within 60 days of hire
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
