Cultivation Technician Job Description

Job Title Assistant Gardener
Reports To Assistant Director of Cultivation
Location Coal Township, PA
Responsibilities:
- Mixing amendments into soil in large quantities
- Transplanting clones and vegetative plants into upgrading pot sizes
- Transporting plants to updated locations
- Clone propagation
- Completing daily Clone Tray Maintenance with associated logs
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming of Cultivation areas
- Harvest Processing (Harvesting, Weighing, Racking, Transporting)
- Harvest Turnover (Removal of all plant material, sanitizing irrigation lines, cleaning all hard surfaces, table scrubbing, drain cleaning)
- Aiding in the collection of Fresh Frozen harvest material.
- Performing daily feedings for plants through mechanical and automated systems.
- Following all Parea Cultivation and Cleanliness SOPs

Work Environment
This job operates in a Medical Cannabis Facility. Within the Facility the employee may use gardening tools, snips, pruners, chemicals, grinders, ladders, and step stools. This is a non-exhaustive list. The employee may be required to use other items and/or tools. The Facility is temperature controlled as temperature will be as low as 50 degrees and as high as 100 degrees. Employee will be subjected to UV lighting and will be required to wear eye protection. Employee will be required to wear facemask and arm sleeves for additional protection. The office setting of this position uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift items up to 50lbs individually. Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time. Must be able to work in manufacturing or production facilities with moderate to loud noise levels and changing working conditions. May require the use of safety equipment and personal protective equipment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, hourly, Non-Exempt position, and hours of work and days vary Sunday through Saturday. Weekend availability and flexibility are required for this position
