JOB DESCRIPTION
The Construction Foreman will lead daily operations on multiple job sites, directly supervise the construction crews, ensuring efficient and effective completion of tasks. Supervising machinery operations, material inventory, labor crews. You will be dealing with subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project schedules. Strong working knowledge of grading, excavation, digging the utility ditches for water/sewer/electric/& gas install.
Pardue Excavating LLC is a family owned and operated business since 1968. Our company primarily performs underground utilities, yard grading, installing septic systems, and hauling dirt and gravel.
Monday-Friday with start time at 6:00 am at the yard located in Gallatin, TN
40-50 HR week. We generally work 10 hour days depending on weather and work volume.
QUALIFICATIONS
CDL Class “A” Driver’s License
DOT Physical
Clean driving record (MVR)
2 years construction foreman experience
Operate heavy machinery
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee daily operations on construction sites to monitor progress and quality of work. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results. Must be well organized and have good problem-solving skills. Communicate effectively with the project manager, customers, crews, and drivers to meet project requirements. Resolve any issues or delays that arise during the project lifecycle.
Maintain accurate daily reports on production, equipment usage, trucking, and labor hours and turn in daily to office personnel. Assist in planning and forecasting equipment and material needs with the project manager. Manage numerous job projects and tasks simultaneously.
Haul equipment on loboy to different job sites. Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions.
This is a working leader role boots on the ground, hands in the work, and eyes on quality from start to finish.
Motivate, lead by example, and assist crew members. Hold employees accountable for following safety procedures and policies. Train, mentor, and develop crew members to improve skill sets and productivity. Ensure that crews know details of daily job duties and have proper materials on the truck.
Uphold company standards for safety, cleanliness, and professionalism on all job sites. Operate and oversee the safe use of tools, equipment, and machinery. Ability to adapt to site conditions and troubleshoot issues in real time.
