The new colleague will carry out the following activities:
- Manage and supervise freight transportation processes, supporting the New York offices;
- Plan orders and shipments, ensuring adequate operational flow;
- Analyze and manage customs and import activities;
- Support for the development of a local network of logistics warehouses;
- Manage any operational anomalies;
- Support colleagues in identifying the best logistics and transportation solutions;
- Evaluate and optimize existing processes, supporting the business.
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience of at least 5 years, preferably in small to medium-sized shipping companies and agencies;
- Excellent knowledge of customs and import practices;
- Management skills of supply chain logistics and warehousing activities;
- Good knowledge of IT programs (e.g., Excel);
- Proactive and collaborative attitude in supporting colleagues;
- Good problem-solving skills.
