Bartender– Parche | OaklandParche is a contemporary Colombian restaurant in Uptown Oakland, known for bold flavors, high-energy service, and a strong team culture. We are a cultural powerhouse with an emphasis on creating an elevated, memorable guest experience.We are currently hiring a Bartender who is also comfortable serving — this is a hybrid role for someone who understands full-service hospitality, not just the bar.This is not a “stay behind the bar” position. We’re looking for someone who can move seamlessly between bar and floor, support the team, and deliver a complete guest experience.Located in Uptown Oakland, 3 blocks from BARTOpen 7 days a week for lunch and dinnerWhat You’ll Do
- Execute a high-quality cocktail program with consistency and speed
- Provide full table service when needed (taking orders, running food, closing checks)
- Engage guests with strong hospitality and product knowledge
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar and service area
- Work efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining standards
- Support team service — no silos, no “that’s not my job” mentality
- Assist with batching, prep, and inventory monitoring
- Maintain proper labeling, dating, and rotation of all bar products (batches, syrups, garnishes, kegs, storage)
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly bar cleaning responsibilities
- Accurately operate POS (Toast), process payments, and manage cash handling
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar
- Comfortable working both behind the bar and on the floor
- Minimum 4 days of availability, weekend availability preferred
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and service fundamentals
- Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
- Punctual, professional, and presentable
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail
- Adheres to all alcohol safety and sanitation standards
