Chaplain – Parc Provence
Parc Provence is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Chaplain to provide spiritual care, religious services, and emotional support to residents, families, and staff. The Chaplain plays an essential role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by offering guidance, comfort, and connection across all belief systems. This position also represents Parc Provence with professionalism and respect in all interactions with residents, guests, families, and the broader community.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide and coordinate pastoral care for residents, their loved ones, and staff, including support for specific faith groups as assigned.
Assist in coordinating clergy visits and pastoral volunteers from the community.
Maintain accurate records of pastoral activities and communicate relevant information with the Activities Department.
Participate in the community’s continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Contribute to the broader community through teaching, publication, or research when appropriate.
Attend staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.
Provide spiritual support to individuals of all religions, belief systems, and cultural backgrounds.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
College degree required.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a long‑term care community or in a role working directly with individuals and families.
Communication Skills:
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Ability to interact pleasantly and effectively with residents, families, and staff.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
