The Director of Hospitality is responsible for the daily operations of the concierge department and dining room services while ensuring the team delivers the highest quality of service possible to our residents, families, and visitors. The Director of Hospitality ensures that Residents have an exceptional experience and that the highest quality standards are met. Integral in delivering on our promise of Exceptional Senior Living by hiring, training, and coaching the team that will be the best in the community at serving our Residents.

SALARY: Starting $60K Bonus Eligible
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Delivers results contributing to the mission and overall success by accomplishing performance objectives focused on business revenues, resident and associate satisfaction, effectiveness, and efficiencies.
- Responsibly manages and supervises 24-hour concierge and dining services team.
- Design and uphold a culture of personalized service that mirrors five-star hospitality. Anticipate resident preferences, celebrate individuality, and ensure every interaction reflects the community’s brand promise.
- Analyze service trends, identify areas for improvement, and lead initiatives that enhance resident engagement, efficiency, and overall satisfaction.
- Partner with sales, wellness, clinical, and operations teams to align hospitality programs with the broader mission and strategic objectives of the community.
- Recruit, train, and mentor leaders and frontline associates in dining, and concierge services. Model professionalism, polish, and empathy to sustain a hospitality-first mindset.
- Ensures quality standards and procedures are met and maintained.
- Works with Building Services Director to ensure a safe and secure environment for residents and associates
- Plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operations of the Dining Services and Concierge Departments
- Introduce enhancements, participate in menu design, concierge offerings, events, and resident engagement programs that create memorable moments and set the community apart.
- Assist service staff during mealtime as needed
- Ensures all resident dietary needs and restrictions are met
- Advise management of any concerns regarding residents
- Work closely with leadership in wellness, clinical, and sales to ensure the hospitality experience supports lifestyle, health, and brand positioning goals, strengthening reputation and occupancy alike
- Oversee resident billing of food service charges
- Participate in the Manager on Duty monthly program
- Attend staff meetings, contributing to the overall quality of Parc Communities
- Attend and participate in monthly Resident Food Committee Meetings
- Ensures exceptional resident and associate relations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years’ experience of proven leadership expertise, hospitality and fine-dining background preferred.
- A proven track record of meeting budgets, an understanding of P&L statements, and cost/inventory control
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and hospitality skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Must work as a concierge, server, utility worker if needed.
- Knowledge of OSHA-MSDS sheets and procedures
- ServSafe Manager Certification
- Knowledge of state food handling and kitchen regulations
- Knowledge of fire, safety, and infection control procedures
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft suite products
