Position Summary
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for the Caregiver Relief Services Program will provide in-home and community-based support services to families of children with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Reporting to the Program Manager, this position plays a key role in strengthening family stability through assessment, crisis intervention, caregiver support, and collaboration with program staff to ensure quality service delivery. The social worker will conduct family assessments, assist with the intake process, provide crisis support strategies to reduce caregiver stress, and provide ongoing guidance to promote family well-being and resilience.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide crisis intervention services in-home for families experiencing emotional, behavioral, or situational stress related to caregiving for a child with disabilities.
- Assist program management during the intake process, including initial family meetings, needs assessments, and service planning.
- Conduct caregiver stress a
ssessments and provide follow-up support or referrals as needed. - Collaborate with program staff, management, and community partners to coordinate resources and support for families.
- Collaborate with families to develop a comprehensive plan of care, including support with APD iBudget waiver enrollment, education on coping strategies, referrals to community resources, and guidance on self-care practices.
- Maintain accurate & timely documentation in compliance with program and agency standards.
- Participate in regular team meetings, case reviews, and training sessions to support program quality and continuous improvement.
- Uphold Parc Center for Disabilities’ mission and values by promoting inclusion, empowerment, and family-centered care.
- Serve as on-call support for emergencies in conjunction with the program manager providing timely assistance and ensuring family safety and program continuity
- Summarize assessment data and provide status updates to Manager, AVP, and CPO
- Participate in drafting grant updates, ensuring program goals, metrics, and timelines are met.
- Other appropriate responsibilities as determined by management.
Education, Training and Experience Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited institution required
- Current Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with children with disabilities or in family support services preferred.
- Knowledge of community resources and family support networks.
- Valid Florida Drivers’ License with acceptable driving record.
- Communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.

Schedule
- Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- This position involves both office-based and in-home visits. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends may be required based on family needs.
