Requirements
What You’ll Do
As a Caregiver / Resident Aide, you will:
- Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility
- Encourage independence through meaningful engagement and daily routines
- Follow individualized care plans to ensure safety, dignity, and quality of life
- Support community outings and appointments
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated, mission-driven team
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
- At least one year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
- Strong understanding of cognitive, social, and physical support needs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and provide hands-on assistance
- Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a Level II Background Check and Drug Screening
- Parc is a Drug-Free Workplace
- Ability to obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid, and Parc-approved behavior support certifications (training provided)
- Completion and maintenance of Professional Crisis Management (PCM) certification
- Screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
