Veterinary Assistant

As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring the health and well-being of our furry patients. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Assisting veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
• Handling and restraining animals safely and compassionately.
• Preparing exam rooms and maintaining a clean, organized environment.
• Monitoring and caring for animals during their stay.
• Providing support with administrative tasks, such as updating patient records.
• Educating pet owners about proper care and treatment plans.
• Cleaning is a must during and after shifts to and above standards.
• Marketing locally to different businesses and client call backs and referral program performance.

We’re seeking a dedicated individual who meets the following qualifications:

• Experience: At least 6 months-1 year of experience in a veterinary or animal care setting.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Language Skills: Being bilingual is preferred to better serve our diverse clientele.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care.
• Enjoys marketing and asking for referrals and reviews
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
