Client Care Coordinator — Second Shift
Paramount Wellness Retreat | Haddam, CT
Paramount Wellness Retreat (PWR) is a luxury detox and residential treatment facility serving adults in recovery. We are looking for a dependable, compassionate Client Care Coordinator to join our team on second shift, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, Thursday through Monday.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role similar to a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) position. The Client Care Coordinator is an important part of the treatment team, providing structure, support, supervision, and day-to-day assistance to clients throughout their stay.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for all clients.
- Conduct regular and detailed client rounds and monitor the facility for safety and security.
- Provide direct support and assistance with clients’ daily needs.
- Build positive, professional relationships with clients while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
- Support clients through the treatment process with empathy, patience, and consistency.
- Assist medical staff with obtaining vital signs and communicating changes or concerns regarding clients.
- Observe client behavior and communicate relevant information to the clinical and medical teams.
- Work closely with clinical, medical, and support staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and performance-improvement activities.
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Complete other duties as assigned by management.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, substance use treatment, or a related setting is a plus.
- Candidates who have completed peer recovery, recovery coaching, or similar programs are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Professionalism, reliability, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain appropriate client boundaries.
- A genuine interest in supporting people through the recovery process.
Schedule & Compensation
- Position: Client Care Coordinator
- Shift: Second shift, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM
- Schedule: Thursday through Monday
- Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
- Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour
